Cpu Fan Error Nzxt Kraken. I have a cpu fan error and i am using a kraken nzxt z73 aio pump. I already found out online that this is a common problem and i just have to disable the cpu fan in the bios. I tried plugging the pump tach into both cpu_fan and aio_pump connectors on the motherboard and was getting the same issue. I double checked that its not the sata. Afaik, the usb header is just for software/rgb control. I have checked my plugins several times, i can't find anything. The fans on the kraken are running and i verified that it is connected to the cpucooler header on the mobo. I also tried booting into windows several times to open cam, but. Some motherboards do not recognise the cpu pump header as a cpu fan and mistakenly think you haven't got a cpu cooler fan plugged in. It worked and i got into. The pump still requires to be connected. If attached directly to a psu molex plug won't do any harm, you'll just get cpu fan warnings since nothing's on a cpu fan or pump.
